Over 100 years ago, dairymen used to make cheese in traditional copper kettles in the 180-year-old Kashütte. Today, the hut has been faithfully rebuilt on the Hirschbichl and invites you to enjoy a cosy get-together with spectacular views.
In a family atmosphere at 2,000 metres, the hosts take care of the physical well-being of hungry visitors. The food is cooked with great dedication and organic ingredients.
Hut romance & culinary delights
High above Kaltenbach in the Zillertal, on the Mizunalm, it was built by farmers 120 years ago. Today at Hirschbühl - rebuilt true to the original with combined forces and great attention to detail - the Kashütte has that certain something: rustic charm combined with an exquisite touch characterises its unmistakable, familiar character.
